Lifetime Achievement Award transcribed by Nathan Hall I think the tab for Lifetime Achievement Award is completely wrong. Here's mine. INTRO & VERSE 2>--------------5-----------4-------------------------------------5------------4--------------------------------------5-----------4---------- 3>---------6---------6-----------6--------------(6)-------6-----------6------------6---------------(6)---------6----------6-----------6------ 4>----7-----------------------------------------------6-----------------------------------------------------4--------------------------------- we want you to... receive a trophy 2>-----------------------------------7------5-------------5------------- 3>----(6)---------------6--------------------------6-------------------- 4>----------6-----6----------6------------------------------------------ on... t. v. 2>-----------------7----------5-------------------------------------7----------5----------- 3>-----------6----------6----------6--------------(6)--------6---------6-----------6------- 4>-----7-------------------------------------------------6--------------------------------- 5>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- in rec... og... nit... ion of 2>---------------------------4----------4h5-----4-----------4-------------- 3>-------(6)--------6----------6---------------------6--------------6*--- 4>----------------4-------------------------------------------------2*---*x8 5>------------------------------------------------------------------4*--- your ex... cell... ence I hope the notation is making sense. PRE-CHORUS 3>-----------5-----7-----5-----7/8-----7-----5-----7--------------4-----6-----4-----6/7----6----4----6--------------------------------- 5>----(3)------------------------------------------------------(2)----------------------------------------------------------------- The entire pre-chorus above is repeated 4 times at each pre-chorus. On the 4th time, the section from (2) to the last 6 is played twice. CHORUS 5>----4-----4-----5-----4-----5-----4-----4-----5-----3-----3-----5-----3-----7-----5-----3-----5----- The above chorus is played 8 times at the first two choruses. On the 8th time, the section from the first 3 to the last 5 on the line is played three times. WEIRD VERSE I have no fucking clue. I think I hear an F# and a B. OTHER CHORUS 5>----1-----1-----2-----1-----2-----1-----1-----2-----0-----0-----2-----0-----4-----2-----0-----2------ and we re... gret to say This other chorus occurs right after the weird verse and near the end of the song, between pieces of the chorus. You should be able to piece it together by listening to the song. OUTRO 3>----------------------------------------2--------------------------------------------------------------------2----- 4>----------------------------6--------------------------6-----------------------------------------6--------------- 5>------------------4--------------------------------------------4----------------------4-------------------------- 6>----2--------------------------------------------------------------------2----------------------------------------or something NOTES The end of the song (first other chorus and everything afterward) is made of different pieces of the original chorus and other chorus. I'm too lazy to tab it all out, but it shouldn't be too hard to put together. Also, on the second pre-chorus, there are some quiet, feed backish notes being played on the second string, 15th fret and 14th fret. The 15th fret note starts at the (3) and the 14th fret note starts at the (2) of the tabbed pre-chorus. Numbers in parentheses are notes I'm not too sure about, or which may be a different note at different times in the song because of a random other note Justin may have hit unintentionally. Also, I'm not even going to try to tab the keyboard parts. If you have any additions, corrections, or questions, you can email me at cdnhall@eastky.net. If anyone wants to use this tab on their page please give me (Nathan Hall) credit. Aloha I forgot to mention that the tab I did is in standard tuning.
