The Waydowns - Vern used to play with the Waydowns back in the olden days. From Nuplastikk: "waydowns have a demo tape through pnmv that i never got my hands on..two 7"s ( one on k records ipu series and the other is pnmv) , and three compilation songs, one on a slice of lemon lp/cd on krs/lookout, and two on wantage comp. uno. all of their songs are untitled."

XBXRX - Vern engineered the self-titled XBXRX 7-inch single on Arkam records. Recorded commenced in May 2001 at The Magnetic Recording Academy, and Vern contributed backward guitar to a track.

Blonde Redhead - Vern played bass on "Fake Can Be Just As Good."

Moe (or maybe Mow) - Frank Family says, "I'm positive that it's Moe [and not Mow], I think Sara drummed for them or something but I'm not sure."
