Album Art
The room on the cover of Challenge For A Civilized Society,
according to a photo caption in the February 1998 issue of National Geographic
("Revolutions In Mapping"), is the Christian Science Mapparium,
located at the "Mother Church" of the First Church of Christ,
Scientist in Boston, MA. Thanks to Brian M. and Eliot
S. for this information.
The cover art on Fake Train was originally the cover
of the album "Tom", by Tom Jones (though Tadaki informs me it also
has a couple big chunks of the cover of "Space is the Place" by Sun Ra).
The cover art to New
Plastic Ideas was originally the cover of a recording of "Moussorgsky"
(sp?) by Eugene Ormandy. Thanks to Sean Christopher Duncan for this information.
